My vacation in Torrevieja

I am finally writing this post, the lack of the latter has been stopping me from blogging lately and the illness. I will probably save it in drafts and continue writing later. Hoping to finish it in one go.

There are a fair few pictures and they cover pretty much everything that I want to share with you guys. More or less. Therefore I have decided not to break it into many shorter posts but rather will have a long post with subheadings. Wanna read or not, is up to you guys!

ON THE WAY THERE

The most memorable part of the trip over to Spain was this Asian family, dad, mom and daughter. They sat on the row next to ours. (we sat on ABC and they sat on DEF, get it? not behind, not infront but next to us, although we had an isle between us). The Stockholm-Madrid trip took over three hours and the entire time this lady couldn't stop staring. It was full on, looking, she had to sit rather uncomfortable to accomplish the staring. Looking straight at her didn't help, she would continue the second you turned around. After a while we started to try and get a picture of staring, for the blog ofcourse! Somehow she managed to turn away every time. UNTIL! We were waiting for the gate to open and board the plane from Madrid to Alicante. At this time ladies daughter, entire family were eating boiled eggs (well prepared I must say), so I was once again trying to get a picture of egg feast for my blog and failed. What I succeded with was capturing the lady, STARING aaagaain, here she is:

Guilty of charge!

Some other pictures on the way there:

FIRST DAY IN TORREVIEJA

Getting groceries and getting to know the neighbourhood. First day was cloudy and extremely windy.

Sundried ham, "jamon", very usual sight on a wall in a grocery store. Love jamon

The fridge, loaded with wines and cavas (Spanish version of champagne, has smaller bubbles, younger, not really champagne but kind of). I forgot all of the rules of my healhy diet. Alcohol is also much cheaper in Spain, a bottle of cava is between 2 and 5 euros.

FIRST TIME WALKING ALONG THE COAST LINE

When we finally picked a spot to tan on the sun was pretty much gone but it was a nice 2 hour long walk.

Annoying homies selling the fake bags, watches etc. "Nice price, only today!" "For you freee!!!" They were pretty much everywhere!

Fiesta, therefore ladies were all dressed up, have no clue what it was for since Spaniards have frequent festivities due to their religion.

Fridges, defrosting on the beach!

Frequent sight on the beaches of Spain, the build sculptures of sand and put a bucket infront of them. Collecting money.

Spotted, a fridge, trying to look like a minibar.

HOUSE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

A type of cigarettes only found in Spain.

Dinner.

This is our neighbours boxer, he would stand next to the gate waiting for bypassers, with a toy. Ready to charm. As soon as he got your attention he throw the toy out and expect you to get it for him, this went on and on and on. Cute dog. I got bored of throwing the ball so I woke Daniil up to take over.

We ate outside for the most of the time!

The colour choice was not intended. I love how they use tiles in Spain.

GETTING THE GROCERIS

My top kept on sliding down so I asked Daniil to document it.

ONE OF THE RESTAURANT VISITS

BY THE POOL

THE REST

There is a Burger King (Hungry Jacks) and he has a queen!

Madrid airport, on the way back:

That's it! Haha, boring post, but it's so time consuming and I am still sick. Will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Toodles.
